| The Bay Horse Inn is a delightful 18th century coaching Inn, situated in the pretty village of West Woodburn, Northumberland.

This delightful, four-diamond rated Inn is situated in the heart of the Cheviot Hills along the Pennine way, making it an ideal base for cyclists and walkers. Other local activities such as clay target shooting, fishing, horse riding and walking -as well as quad bike safaris- can be arranged.

The Bay Horse's bed and breakfast establishment features five en-suite bedrooms, all individually decorated in a delightful cottage style. All of the rooms are equipped with colour televisions, hair dryers, ironing facilities and a trouser press. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.

Bay Horse also provide guests with a luxury four poster bedroom, ideal for honeymooners or as a special treat for any couple.

Delicious country fare - as well as more exotic specialties - using locally sourced ingredients is served up in their comfortable lounge bar, or for something that extra bit special, in their beautifully furnished restaurant.

Ample parking is provided including spaces for coaches on appointment.

Bed and breakfast tariff starts at £42 for a double or twin room, or £45 for the special four-poster bed room. There is a single supplement charge of £8. Children under 12 years old, sharing a parents' bedroom stay half price.

The Bay Horse Inn bed and breakfast also offer special bargain rates for guests staying more than one night. A minimum of two nights stay is charged at £40 per person per night, and tariff for guests staying 3 nights or more is just £38.
